La Leche League support in Lebanon
MEETINGS
We welcome you to join our free monthly La Leche League (LLL) breastfeeding support meetings that currently happen online and in-person. Mothers with babies and older children, expecting couples, fathers, grandparents, family members and all people who are interested in the subject of breastfeeding and parenting through breastfeeding are most welcome.
Meetings cover a variety of topics such as: the importance of breastfeeding, getting off to a good start after birth, overcoming difficulties, common concerns, introduction of solids to a breastfed baby, breastfeeding an older child, loving guidance, and weaning (ways of stopping to breastfeed gradually and with love). During the meetings attendees get to share their experiences, ask questions, and support each other.
Meetings for La Leche League Mtayleb
Meetings usually happen monthly on each 3rd Thursday of the month from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. In-person meetings alternate with online meetings. Contact Veronica for meeting information and directions (scroll down to "Leader Contact Information").

Please note that since the beginning of the pandemic, La Leche League Lebanon started holding online meetings. This practice continues after the end pandemic. It provides opportunities for mothers from the furthest areas of Lebanon as well as from different countries to join LLL meetings.
